Yes, here we go, another Google PageRank article. It’s just that all this PR banter gives me more to talk about! But this time, I’m going to expose how much I’ve actually raked in because of my PR.
I’ve had some people tell me that they don’t care about PageRank. Some because they don’t think it’s relevant, or it’s not worth thinking about, or it doesn’t make them money. Well, let me put this to rest, if PR can make you money, does it solve the other “concerns”? My bet is that the answer is “yes”.
One thing that folks don’t realize is that a site’s PageRank can actually make you money. I’m not just saying that I get more visitors or more comments, things that indirectly lead me to more money, but I actually earn money directly. I’m not talking pennies, either. I’m talking hundreds of dollars per transaction!
As you know, I’m not one to boast about money. I don’t like to disclose how much I earn from here or any of my sites. However, what I will do is provide a few examples of what I’ve been able to pull in over the last 30 days.
- Posted site reviews (average ~$125 per transaction) – each containing 200-500 words, 3 backlinks
- Added sentences on archived articles (average ~$300 per transaction) – each includes 10-30 backlinks
- Added backlinks on archived articles (average ~$50 per transaction) – each includes 3-5 backlinks
Not bad right? That doesn’t even include my income from affiliates or other sources.
So, to drive my point home, do you think any of those paying customers would have seeked me out if my PR was 0? These people wanted juice and I gave it to them!

I think the premise that PR doesn’t matter is false to begin with. If it doesn’t matter why is do they even measure it? Why is there so much information about it out there?
I agree that you can make a good living online w/o worrying about PR necessarily, but it can definitely go a long way in helping you.

When people say that PR does not matter, I think they mean that it does not change their traffic. Of course the traffic is not all
. Selling links from internal pages is a very good way to boost income. I have just recently realized that.
By the way, Page Rank helps for other stuff too. Google takes it into account when crawling your site. If you have low Page Rank, Google may not even discover some of your pages, or if it does it will be after some time.

Seems that lately the Seomoz’s Page Authority and Domain Authority counts more than Google’s PR. Anyway, PR will still be an important factor, a blog without PR will hardly attract any publishers

well, page rank is all about.. increasing page rank means you have great exposure in the eyes of different search engins, and you are having great traffic,, go with different technique and be patient to increase you page rank..
This is definitely great! you know what whenever I visit some forum sites I always notice one thing. Most of them would tell that page rank is not valued nowadays. On the other hand, they might be true but with me I guess if you want to generate more income to your site then you have to have a good page rank. Page rank actually attracts visitors and advertisers because it’s one way of saying that my site has a value and you have to watch for it. All in all page rank is actually very important still for me.
