We don't have to be the same in order to work together.

As some of you have noticed, my real life schedule has been pretty crazy the last few weeks. In my opinion, it’s only going to get worse before it gets better (in terms of free time, not quality of life)!

My wife and I are expecting our third child in several more weeks. Those of you keeping count, that will give us three kids under age three. My new position at work has been a thrilling ride, my efforts on developing a new course for Penn State University has been fun, and my other revenue generating interests have been quite…well, interesting — in a good way.

As a result, I’m hoping to weave some guest posts between the articles that I’m personally producing.

What do you get out of this? Well, if it isn’t obvious already:

  1. Backlinks! You’ll get a backlink in your article bio and I’ll also allow a reasonable amount of relevant backlinks laced throughout the article. I’m not a control freak but I don’t want spammy articles. My general rule is no more than one backlink for every 200 words.

  2. PageRank juice! Sure, not every page is equal but if you write a powerful article, it will produce some link juice for Google PageRank. Some of my pages have a PR4.

  3. Promotion! You get to demonstrate your knowledge and ability to connect with others. Many of my visitors get acquainted with each other. You get to launch yourself into a community where participation is abundant and often seen frequenting each others’ sites.

As I mention in the title, I’m not only looking for “experts”. I’m interested in commentary, opinions, and views from all experience levels.

Also, if writing about blogging or making money online isn’t your site’s niche, that’s OK too. Certainly you can still provide value by sharing your experiences. There are quite a few regulars here who blog about other interesting topics but may want to share their blog lives, perhaps even blogging about something other than their norm for the first time.

Here’s how simple it is:

  1. Write an article about blogging. Blog advice is great but even if you simply want to blog about your experiences, that would be nice too. Sharing stories is a wonderful way to connect with other bloggers. If you need help with topics, just look at these blog article ideas.

  2. Write a few sentences introducing yourself that I can use in the footer of the article. Feel free to include a backlink to your site here.

  3. Find a nice picture of yourself. This is optional but it’s highly recommended.

  4. Send all three of the above to me via email at gyoung@freebloghelp.com.

That’s it! It really doesn’t get much easier than that.

The only thing that I ask is that the article is interesting. I don’t want to provide too many rules so you can just be creative and let your fingers fly. If you’re not sure if I’ll accept a particular topic, feel free to run it by me first. I’m really looking forward to seeing what I get in the coming weeks!
