  Personally, when I want to spice my blogs up, I wirte something that is against the grain of what everyone else is saying. It stirs a bit of controversy and usually get’s a nice debate happening in the comments.

I liked your point about varying tine of voice – some of my favourite blog posts have been written at 3am when I censor what I’m saying less. And content’s a must.
